Sorting and Filtering Data With Excel

Un Answered
Admin

Let’s say you had the spreadsheet and wanted to sort by name or title. You can sort your Excel data on one column or multiple columns. You can sort in ascending or descending order.

The sorting tool allows you to sort by date, number, alphabetic order and more.

For example: You have  spreadsheet with two column. you want sort data as name

Now, Click on the arrow button in left corner

As you can see, Excel offers a variety of sorting and filtering tools to help you refine your data and keep it organized.  click sort A - Z for sorting ascending order.

You can also do that from Data tab

  • Select a single cell in the column you want to sort.

On the Data tab, in the Sort & Filter group, click Sort to display the Sort popup window.

Thanks
