Multiplying and dividing in MS Excel is easy, you need to create a simple formula to do it.
How to Divide Numbers:
in example: we will put two separate number columns. and We will divide Number 1 by Number 2. Let's think you want to find out how much bottled in a box of total item of 100 pic and boxes have 5. final result will be presented in the Result column.
Total Product Qty: 100
Total Boxes Qty: 5
To Divide this task, use the / (forward slash) between two numbers. =SUM(B3/C3)
For example, if you type =10/5 in a cell, the cell displays 2.
The Result will show 20.
How to Multiply Numbers:
For example, we might want to multiply the contents of two cells. The asterisk * is arithmetic operator for multiply in ms excel.
