To Calculate the difference between two dates MS Excel provides lots of functions to work with dates and times. Each function performs a simple operation . we will se some of examples:

To find the number of days between these two dates as below example, simply enter “=B3-C3”. Once you hit enter, Excel will automatically calculate 15 days as result.

Remember, To that you have to maintain the dates format as like February 25, 2024 or like screenshots as well.

Now, if you want to get the date to selected days like, today is 25 feb 2024, and you want to know the date of after 20 days from the first date. just apply the below function.

=B3+20

Or you can use that formula =DATE(2024, 2, 20)+15

The Date function is a built-in function that can be used as a worksheet function in Excel.  The DATE function includes the following arguments:

Here are a few Excel DATE formula examples:

=DATE(2024, 2, 25) - returns a serial number corresponding to 25-Feb-2024.

You can also utilize the Workday in that calculation.

By specifying holidays in the Workday function, you can accurately calculate future or past dates while excluding designated holidays.

=WORKDAY(TODAY(), 20)

For a dynamic formula, use cell references for the start date, number of days, and holiday range, making it easy to update as needed.
