Add or remove borders from shapes in MS Word

Un Answered

Microsoft Word can help you make your document look more professional by allowing you to take away the text box outline. When you insert a new text box into your Microsoft Word document, Word will automatically place a border around it.

Sometime, a border may not be required for your design. Removing the text box outline makes your content stand out without being distracted by unnecessary borders.

Just follow the steps to remove borders!

Start by clicking the text box you want to change.

With the shape selected, go to the Shape Format tab, select Shape Outline

Then Click on  “No Outline.” This takes away the border.

Remember, text boxes are only one part of making an impressive and professional document. Try other formatting tools too, like font styles, colors, and spacing. This can improve the overall look.

Thanks
