In MS excel documents, if you want to protect your sheet by setting a password you can visit the video How to Password Protect an Excel Spreadsheet . Worksheet protection in Excel is not a security feature. It's is not actually intended to prevent people from accessing data in a password-protected worksheet.

For example: you own the team status report worksheet, where you want team members to add data in specific cells only and not be able to modify anything else. With worksheet protection, you can make only certain parts of the sheet editable and users will not be able to modify data in any other region in the sheet.

But when you set a password you need to remove that sometime. in that article we will learn that step by step.

How to unprotect Excel sheet with password

Type 01: Right-click the sheet tab, and select Unprotect Sheet… from the context menu.

Type 02: On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click Unprotect Sheet.

Then enter your password and press ok.

If the worksheet was not protected with password, clicking the Unprotect Sheet button is all it takes to unlock the sheet.

Thanks
