just Think i have 100/-. How much money does it cost to give a discount of 30% first, then give a discount 8%,
How to calculate it in excel,,,
ie from 100, at first 30% is deducted. balance will be 70 /- now, 8% will deduct from 70. then balance will be -64.40/-
how to do it easily in excel??? I will benefit if you tell me a little.
Solution
As i understand your quotation i prepared an excel file format for you. check the below
Now, to calculate discount 1 that are 30% of 100 formula is
=B3-(B3*C3) and press enter. you will get 70
now, if you want to deduct 8% in same cell then write the formula
=(B3-(B3*C3))-(B3-(B3*C3))*D3
done. your result has been come.
